Madewell Tee, Anthropologie Chino Shorts, Tory Burch sandals, love this pair here

After a busy yet relaxing weekend I thought these pictures would be a fun way to start off the week. These are the last of our AZ pictures. I wore this outfit on a casual day running around Scottsdale.

As soon as we got to the desert, I realized I forgot to pack shorts for our trip and needed a pair as the temp started to creep into the 90’s! I loved the fun candy cane stripes in this peplum tee. I decided to match it with these “Nantucket red” shorts from Anthro. I fell in love with the fit of these shorts as soon as I tried them on.

I often find it difficult to find shorts. They are either too long, too short, or tight at the waist. These chino shorts were perfect for everyday use and fit just right. I definitely will be picking up another pair or two for the beach this summer. I look forward to wearing them with a long sleeve, one of my favorite easy combinations for the summer.

There’s something so effortless and classy about a long sleeve top and a pair of shorts! Happy Monday!    -Allie

Great style! There’s a connection between food and fashion, I feel: the simplest creations are usually the best.
